Why am I doing this to myself? Thought Dawn.
"Hi Angle is Spike with you?" Dawn asked.
"Oh hey squirt yeah he's right here. Hold on a minute," Angel said.
"Ok," Dawn said.
"Hello," Spike said.
"Hey it's Dawn," Dawn said.
"Oh hey Dawney," Spike said.
"How was hunting with Buffy last night?" Dawn asked.
Good one Dawn.Dawn thought to herself.
"It was good. Didn't get to kill anything," Spike said.
"Oh well maybe tonight will be different," Dawn said.
Go for it Dawn. Be like Buffy and just come out with it already.
"Yeah maybe," Spike said.
"Hey what are you doing after hunting tonight?" Dawn asked.
"Coming back and hiding from the sun," Spike said.
"Yeah that's a good idea," Dawn said feeling herself turn red in the cheeks.
"Yeah it is," Spike said chuckling.
"I was wondering if I could make you breakfast tomorrow morning," Dawn said.
"What?" Spike asked not sure if he had her wrong.
"Well not just you. I was meaning you, Angel and Buffy," Dawn said.
"Sure I see no problem with that," Spike said.
"Ok see you tomorrow," Dawn said.
"Ok that's all you needed?" Spike asked knowing she had something on her mind.
"No I want to know if you want to go out with me," Dawn said in one breath.
"Excuse me?" Spike asked not sure if he'd heard right.
"Will you go out with me?" Dawn said slower this time.
"Sure," Spike said calm and cool.
What Dawn didn't see was on the other line Spike was pumping his arms up in the air and ready to do cart wheels he was so happy.
"Cool. See you tomorrow," Dawn said also very happy.
"Bye love," Spike said.
"Bye," Dawn said.
With that they both hung up the phone.
Ring, ring ring
"Honey time to wake up," Spike said kissing Dawn on the cheek.
"Hey," Dawn said.
"How did you sleep?" Spike asked rubbing Dawn's stomach.
"Good. I was dreaming about the phone conversation that started it all," Dawn said joining her husband's hand on her stomach.
"Oh you mean when I fainted because I heard I was going to be a father?" Spike asked.
"No I was talking about when I asked you out," Dawn said.
"Hmm. I remember Angel gave me the whole if you hurt her I kill you speech," Spike smiling at the memory.
"Yeah well he got the exact same talk from Xander," Dawn said.
"Good times good times," Spike said kissing Dawn's stomach.
"And there's many more to come," Dawn said lifting Spike's head so she could kiss him.
"Yes there are," Spike said.
"Love you," Dawn said.
"Love you too," Spike said smiling at Dawn.

AN2: Ok after reading this if there's anyone that doesn't like the whole Spike/Dawn but you do like Buffy/Angel explain that please. B/c Angel is also a vampire so I don't get why some don't like the whole vamp/human but they do like the Buffy/Angel. Sorry not to be rude just wondering.
