One Crazy Night

This is a short story inspired by a really weird dream my friend had and told me about. (For those who read the HHUH series, she's the person I based the Character Lydia on. Her account name is Crystal Galaxy.) I am currently very pleased! If you haven't heard, Katsura Hoshino is doing fine and D. Gray-Man returns in April after she fully heals from a wrist injury. That should give us JUST enough time to overload the net with our fandom! HAZZA!!

I own neither Naruto nor D. Gray-Man, though I often wish I did.

"I told you not to take that bet!" Konan furled her brows tightly and glared at Pein, the unfortunate victim of poor gambling skills.

"How was I supposed to know the answer was sixteen?!"

She turned away from him, clearly very angry. "Thanks a lot Pein, thanks a lot."

"It's not all bad!"

"Oh? It's 'not all bad'?! HOW THE HELL DO YOU FIGURE?! You bet on something stupid, you LOST, and now we have to give the goddamned maid to a D. GRAY-MAN CHARACTER!! WHAT THE HELL PEIN?!"

The leader sighed and looked at the corner of the room. "Just settle down. He's going to be here any minute now."

And, as if he had been waiting for that very line, somebody kicked down the door to Pein's hideout. The Akatsuki scrambled to prepare for any battle, instantly assuming that there would be issues.

And Deidara made a face. He looked from the visitor, and then back to one of his comrades. He repeated. He repeated it again.

And then he burst into laughter, rapidly pointing his finger from Itachi to the newcomer and back again. "OMIGOD!! TWINS!!" And he fell on the floor, beating the stone and attempting to breathe.

Itachi was not pleased.

Nor was Kanda.

To be continued… DUN DUN DUN!!
