I do not own the title of the poem or parts of the original poem as originally used by Clement Clarke Moore, nor do I own anything of doctor who used mentioned in this poem. Happy reading! (Solemn means formal for any on who doesn't know.)
Twas the night before Christmas
Twas the night before Christmas and all through the sky,
A blue box flew by,
Twelve stockings were hung by the hearth with care,
Writings on the wall, Bad Wolf Beware,
Children of time were all in their beds,
Visions of the Doctor reprised in their heads,
The Doctor in his scarf and his hat,
Looked at K9 and said ''I need a cat''
When Outside there arose such a noise,
That made me fall over my toys,
Over to my window I did race,
To see the Master with a grin on his face,
But then I saw a welcoming sight,
The Doctor had landed in the dark starless night,
''Alonsy '' he said in all the excitement,
''Doctor you style needs some refinement''
The Master did reply,
''Right I'll wear a bow tie,
Come five six, seven and eight,
Come to my aid and make me look great''
As four men did appear,
The Master looked more sincere,
When all was over the master did plea,
''Doctor, how do you get the better of me?''
The Doctors did smile as the Master disappeared,
But what happened next they all feared,
I ran into the garden interested to know,
How they did make the Master go,
A Tardis key one of them did through,
Saying who knows?
With the key in my hand I treasured it so,
For all of them had to go,
In the TARDIS they went one by one,
Each was solemn and glum,
As the box disappeared out of sight,
I went to bed and thought O what a night!
I closed my eyes to think of the sound,
That did make my heart pound.
