"Okay,next question. What should the school motto be?" 'Ro announced.

"Dunno." 'Ric muttered. Petting his puppy, Dragon, was far more interesting than this new game 'Ro had thought up, even though the dog was asleep. Honestly, why would he want to start a school?

"School is dumb." he mumbled.

"Of course it is." 'Ro answered snootily. "That's why we should make one ourselves, 'cause then it would be fun to be in school. We could make up our own rules, and have feasts, and have classes in a castle, and always have enough people for Quidditch. Doesn't that sound like fun to you?"

"I guess." Having enough people for Quidditch would be nice, he admitted.

"Not to mention that there would be loads of unsuspecting kids to prank." Sal added. 'Ric grinned at that. You could never pull too many pranks, and Sal was a wonderful partner in crime. So very, very cunning, not to mention that he could get snakes to help. 'Ric ruffled Dragon's ears, thinking of some of the crazy stuff they'd pulled. For some of their more spectacular work, they'd even pulled in 'Ro and Helg to help, though reluctantly.

"So, back on topic." 'Ro cut in, "Any ideas for the motto?"

"I rather like 'Follow Your Dreams'." Helg suggested, twirling a daisy between her fingers.

"That's stupid. How 'bout 'Silent but Deadly'?" Sal returned. 'Ro grimaced, but wrote both ideas in her ever-present notebook.

'Ric giggled, and Dragon rolled belly-up. "That sounds like a fart, Sal."

Helg made a face. "Eww."

"What do you think of 'Knowledge is Power'?"

"Nah," Sal dismissed as 'Ric scratched Dragon's belly. "Too bookish, 'Ro."

At that moment, 'Ric made the unfortunate decision to see what would happen if he tickled the puppy. He feathered his fingers across the velvety belly, and horror of horrors, the dog began to piddle.

Right.

In.

His.

Face.

"AGGHH!" he cried, trying to shield his eyes with his hands. Helg cried out in disgust.

"'Ric, you are absolutely disgusting!" 'Ro scowled as she scooted away.

Sal snorted with unsympatheic laughter. "True, but now you've got your motto."

"What's that?"

"Never tickle a sleeping Dragon."

Okay, okay, it's just founder fluff, but I couldn't help myself. I read a couple other fics about the origin of the motto, but mine's different. This is my first real attempt at fluff (and rather out of character for me, too) so PLEASE REVIEW!!
