Dark Angel
A/N: Hey my little yaoi kittens, I'm going to rewrite this story because my writing and grammar was awful when I first wrote it, well that's all I had to say and I guess I'll see you all in the next authors note.
Summary: Ciel was bored, nothing was really happening; no letters from the queen, no annoying Shinigami, and strange enough no Trancy coming to bother him. To keep himself from getting any more bored Ciel began rummaging through the bookshelves when he found something that brought back a memory from when he was little. OOC, Sebaciel fluff.

Ciel was in his study as usual signing papers for his company; today was very strange for him, I mean, nothing was happening today. No letters from the queen, no Shinigami, and strangely enough, no Trancy coming to annoy him to death.
Ciel set his quill down and walked over to the book shelf that sat near his desk; he began rummaging through the books for something to read when he heard a book hint the floor with a loud thump.
He leaned down to pick up the book and saw that it was a photo albam, Ciel walked back to his desk, sat down, and opened the book flipping through different pictures, until he came to a blank page with only a black feather.
" Huh? Where did I get this? Oh, wait now I remember..."
Ciel picked up the feather and smiled, he was about nine years old when he got this feather...
(Flashback)
It was around midnight and Ciel was being put to bed by his butler Tanaka," young master, please stop moving its time for bed," Tanaka pleaded as he repeatedly pulled the cover over the boy who, was dressed in a pure white night shirt, kept kicking the covers off him," but Tanaka, I'm not tired," a black cocker spaniel barked as it's tail wagged," see, even Sebastian wants to play," Ciel laughed as he pat the bed letting the dog jump up there with him.
Ciel pet the dog and laughed as it licked his face," young master, if you don't get any rest you won't have enough energy to play with Sebastian," Ciel couldn't argue with that as he pulled the covers over himself and buried his face in his pillow.
" Good night young master," The old butler took the candelabra lighting the room and walked to the door before blowing it out, shrouding the room in darkness except for the eery glow of the full moon shining in through the window.
A shadow suddenly flew passed the the window causing Sebastisn to wake up and growl; Ciel heard the growling and sat up rubbing his eyes," Sebastian? What's wrong?" The dog jumped down from the bed and began clawing at the window.
Ciel opened the window and had to close his eyes as a powerful blast of wind blew toward him; when he opened his eyes again he saw something small and dark float down onto the windowsill. The blue eyed boy picked up the object and saw it was a feather," where did this one from, I haven't seen birds with black feathers around here."
Ciel looked outside and saw a dark figure fly across the sky and into the nearby forest," what was that? Let's go check it out Sebastian," the dog barked in agreement as it fetched Ciel's shoes; the blue haired boy put his shoes on and opened the door to his room, looking around to see if any of the servants were wandering the halls.
" Now you have to be very quiet Sebastian," Ciel left his room with the dog following behind; the two ran down hallways until they came to the stairs that led to the front door.
Ciel walked downstairs with Sebastian next to him and they walked into the kitchen where there was a door that led outside. The two had stopped to sneak a snack while they were in there before going outside and Ciel closing the door silently behind him.
" Let's go Sebastian," the dog barked as they made their way into the forest to go find what the mysterious figure was. Ciel held onto Sebastian's collar as they walked through the dark forest, some moonlight peeking through the trees, lighting their way.
Soon Ciel noticed that they were coming to a clearing and pulled both himself and the dog behind a tree as he let out a silent gasp at what he saw; A male with short raven black hair, black claws, fangs, glowing red eyes with slitted pupils, a long black tail, and a pair of raven black wings.
It looked like the creature had injured its wing in some way," I wonder how it hurt itself?" Ciel whispered, the creature suddenly turned in his direction and growled, baring its fangs," come out, I know your there," Ciel flinched at the voice and slowly came out from his hiding spot," um, hello."
" A child? Why are you out here?" The red eyed man asked," I saw a figure land in here so I came to see, is your...um, wing okay?" Ciel stated, approaching the man slowly," I cut it, it'll heal soon," the man said as he hissed in pain trying to bend it," but you still shouldn't move it; Sebastian, go find some berries," the dog that had come with Ciel barked and ran off into the forest," now let me see."
The winged man was confused on why the boy wasn't afraid of him as he opened his wing to reveal a deep cut in his wing. Ciel was hesitant as he felt the feathers," your feathers, there really soft," Ciel could hear a soft chuckle come from the man," thank you," Ciel continued to feel the feathers as he waited for the dog to come back with what he needed.
" Tell me child, why aren't you afraid of me?" The man asked," what do you mean? You're not that scary to me," Ciel said," I've met many humans that tremble in fear at the sight of my kind, yet you are different," Ciel giggled and smiled at the elder," well those other people were just scaredy cats and couldn't see how amazing you look, especially with these wings."
Ciel soon heard frantic running as saw Sebastian come back holding different colored berries in his mouth," good boy," the young Phantomhive took some red berried and crushed them with a few blue ones to make some purple mixture," this is something mother taught me to make, it helps with bad wounds," Ciel began to rub the crushed up berries on the wound and listened as the elder hissed in pain at someone touching the cut.
Ciel was amazed when he saw the wound heal faster than he thought," thank you for the help," the red eyed male said," your welcome, by the way, my name is Ciel, what's yours?" Ciel stated," I don't have a name," Ciel was shocked by this," maybe I could call you an angel," the man began to laugh at this," child, I am anything but one of those vile creatures."
" Well, what are you?" Ciel asked," I'm a demon, I'm surprised you didn't realize it from the start," Ciel got closer so they were face to face; the demon leaned back, shocked by The sudden closeness," you look nothing like a demon; demons are ugly evil monsters that steal peoples souls, but you're none of those things," the demons eyes were wide before softening as he smiled and put a clawed hand on the boys head," such a strange child."
" Ciel! Are you out here! Ciel!"
Ciel heard his mothers voice and called back to her," I'm coming mother!" Ciel was surprised when he was suddenly lifted up and set down on his feet," I believe that is my sign to leave," Ciel grabbed onto the demons wrist," wait, I found this feather, I thought you might want it back."
" You can keep it, my feathers fall off and grow back, and you could show it to your parents," Ciel beamed with happiness and held the feather tightly," do you think we could see each other again?" Ciel asked," I know we're going to meet again going to meet again, Ciel," the demon was shocked when the boy suddenly wrapped his arms around his waist and whispered," I hope that day comes soon."
" Ciel!"
" Your parents must be getting worried," the red eyed demon pushed the boy away," okay, bye angel," Ciel waved to the black winged demon; Ciel called Sebastian and the two began to walk toward the manor.
Ciel and Sebastian exited the forest only to be welcomed with his mother hugging him," where did you go so late? We were worried sick," Ciel's mother said looking into his eyes," I was helping an angel mother," the golden haired woman's eyes widened at what her son had said," a what?" She asked," an angel, he had these beautiful black wings and he kept calling himself a demon, but I told him he didn't act like one."
The woman laughed and took her sons hand," really? Why was an angel in the forest?" She asked," he injured his wing and I used that mixture you taught me to make and he gave me one of his feathers, see," Ciel held the black feather out to her," next time maybe you could introduce me," Ciel nodded and smiled as they walked back into the manor.
(Flashback End)
Ciel sighed at the memory," an angel, what an idiotic thing."
" What might that be my lord."
Ciel flinched at the voice and looked up to see Sebastian pushing a cart with his tea on it over to his desk.
" I was just remembering something," Ciel said as Sebastian poured him a cup of tea and placed it on a saucer before handing it to him," what were you remembering my lord?" Sebastian asked," when I was younger I had an encounter with a demon," Ciel said as he took a sip of his tea.
Sebastian looked at the black feather resting on the desk and smirked," really? And what did this demon look like?" Sebastian asked," um, he had black wings, claws, fangs, red eyes, and a tail," Ciel did his best to remember what the demon looked like," what you just described was a raven or a crow demon," Sebastian said," and what demon are you Sebastian?" Ciel asked, his interest becoming peeked.
" I happen to be a raven demon my lord," thoughts began to run through Ciel's head at this, could Sebastian be the demon I met that day, no, he couldn't be, but it wouldn't hurt to ask," Sebastian, did you ever meet a child who wasn't afraid of you," Sebastian thought about this for a moment before responding," yes, it was a young boy to be specific."
" R-really, what did this boy look like?"
" He looked a lot like you my lord, such a strange child; that was the day I had injured my wing on a branch, the boy had helped me which was very strange of a human; why are you so interested my lord."
Ciel practically felt his heart skip a beat at those few words," you were the demon I met that day," Ciel quickly stood from his desk," I did tell you that we'd meet again, Ciel," Sebastian was surprised when Ciel hugged him and nuzzled into his chest," I waited everyday to see you again," Ciel said, his voice muffled by his face being buried in Sebastian's tail coat.
Sebastian got down on one knee and caressed the boys cheeks before kissing his head and smiling," I'm here now Ciel, I'll never leave you again, that's a promise," Ciel couldn't stop the tears that streamed down his cheeks as he leaned into the soothing touch," I never want you to leave me like, my aunt, parents, or anyone else, just stay by my side until the end."
" Yes, my lord."

A/N: Well everyone, that was the rewritten version of this story, I feel a lot better with this version than the last one, it's much longer and has a better plot to it, well that's all I had to say and I guess I'll see you all in the next chapter of one of my other stories, Ciao.
