A/N: Well, this obviously and definitely didn't happen, (Since in EIP Kat said she was confused...) but it's cute and I like it. I suppose it's less of a oneshot and more of a drabble, but whatever. Thanks for reading, and please review.

Disclaimer: I do NOT own Avatar: The Last Airbender or any of the characters within it.

More Than Enough

"K-Katara?"

Aang was nervous. He had to tell her, no matter what the outcome. It was the day of the eclipse tommorow, and if he never came back from the showdown with Ozai, at least she would know.

The waterbender turned to him, slowly taking in the features of his face, glowing perfectly in the starlight. The bags under his eyes were gone, but his hair was unkempt from intense training. He really needed to stop pushing himself so hard. If he didn't give his body a break, there'd be no way he could take down the Fire Lord.

"Yes, Aang?" she replied calmly, a minor smile on her face.

The Avatar sat beside her, dangling his feet over the cliff and keeping his eyes on her. Always on her.

"There's something very important I need to tell you. But I can't if someone... else shows up. But I have to say it before to-tommorow, and I need you to... to know.

"I'm afraid of scaring you, but also, I'm afraid I'll lose your friendship. I know I'm taking a chance here, because tommorow's the invasion, and if you wanted to leave, it might be harder for me to..." he trailed off and sighed, hanging his head in defeat.

He felt a hand on his back and looked into blue diamonds, shining with integrity. Katara had a smile on her face, half amused, half enamored. She said nothing, only gazed at him with a look lovers provide, waiting for his explanation. Her actions gave him hope. They made him learn she wasn't going to quit, no matter the circumstance.

"Katara, I..." Again, his sentence was unfinished.

"You make me happy," he settled on, watching her face carefully. "You understand me for who I am, but also respect me as the Avatar. You know what I'm capable of and embrace it, but you know my weaknesses well enough to protect me from myself. If it wasn't for you, Katara, I'd be nothing.

"What... what I'm trying to say is... I don't think I'd be able to stand being without you. It's like I have a pull to you or something. You're the only thing I can't live without."

Aang stopped, but her features didn't change. Her small, entertained, yet captivated smile and bright blue eyes were in place. The same expression lay upon her, and she nodded once to urge him forward.

"Well, it didn't really take me long to figure out what I... felt... towards you. You're caring and optimistic, which has always surprised me, due to the great loss you've suffered in the past. You look out for others well beings and put yourself last when it comes down to it. I think you're the most beautiful person in the world, inside and out. I just... there is no other place I'd rather be, than with you until my final day."

Katara's lip quivered, an attempt at a smile as tears trickled down her flushed cheeks. The hand on his back wrapped around him, as well as her other and she embraced him in a hug.

He heard her giggle and naturally, was confused.

"What's so funny?" he asked.

There was a pause as she wiped the tears from her face and held him closer.

"I love you, too, silly."
