Where am I? You wonder as you stand up from the concrete floor you were laying on. A room, you guess, counting the four, shaded walls, only illuminated from a dim lightbulb dangling from the ceiling and the thin, white string behind it. Something about where you are feels off, and uncomfortable. You reach for the wall nearby, and your hand catches something. A doorknob. You twist it, and it opens. Nervously, you enter the room it leads to.
The new room has the same, dim lighting, but this time, it has no door. You spin behind you, to see that the one you have entered is no longer there. In it's place is a table, with a stack of paper, and something scrawled in red writing upon the first sheet.
Congratulations, It reads. You have found your way to The Contest. In order to make it out of here, you must write a story. A story about your worst fear, told in the eyes of one of the selectable characters in the Super Smash Brothers Archive. It can reach any length you choose, but if it is under 100 words, you lose. there will be consequences for those who lose. Winners will be chosen in three rounds, but only one will be the true winner, who will be showered with great prizes. You have until the midnight of the 20th of July. Anything later will not be included. It must remain appropriate for student-aged readers, but can follow almost any theme. The victor of this contest will receive 2 one-shots, or one multi-chapter story of anything their heart desires. They will also have the chance to have an OC featured in an upcoming story. Second Place will win 1 one-shot, and an OC feature. Third place will win an OC feature. There will be honorable mentions, who will not win anything, but will escape from The Contest alive. The Contest will run in three rounds, each using process of elimination to find the true winner. You may drop out of rounds, but will lose your chance at prizes. All round winners who drop out are automatically viewed as honorable mentions. The clock is ticking. Good luck.

FIRST PLACE PRIZE: Two one-shots or one multi-chapter story for anything they would like, plus an OC as a main character in a story.
SECOND PLACE: One one-shot, and a secondary OC in a story.
THIRD PLACE: a secondary OC in a story.
