You groaned as you flipped over on your bed, pulling the covers over your head as you listened to the sounds of thunder outside your cabin. The rest of your half-siblings were asleep, already used to the strange weather, so you were the sole person still awake. You were so bored, you even considered waking up Piper, even though she would most likely kill you (or make you do something embarrassing with her charmspeak). You decided to sneak out to the Ares Cabin.

Being as quiet as possible, you slipped on your sandals and your coat and snuck out. As you walked through the pouring, rainy setting, you thought of the cozy cabin where your boyfriend was sleeping. You felt the mud seep through your new shoes, making you wish you were in bed. The crack of thunder made you jump. NOT HELPING WITH THE SHOE PROBLEM! Lightning arched across the sky as it had the night that your brother had died. The memory of the bolt that had struck him down came vividly with every lightning flash. Everyone who didn't know called you a scaredy-cat for fearing a little thunder (A.K.A. Zeus!). No one understood you like Frank. Well, that's why he's your boyfriend!

As you entered the stuffy, yet comforting cabin, you spotted Frank, snoring on the top of a bunk bed. You had to get a picture of this drooling lump, but your phone was in your jeans pocket. In the Aphrodite Cabin. You tapped his shoulder till he woke up with a, "(Name)?" He sat up groggily as you declared, "Frank, I can't-"

"-Sleep," he continued in a very embarrassing whisper imitation of your voice, "It's the thunder again."

" Stop with that terrible and inaccurate imitation of yours!" you complained.

You proceed with a set of bunny ears when he turned his back to you in a '(Name) pout'. He then told you (as if you didn't know), "Bunny ears means turn around and ki-"

You cut him off with a kiss on the lips, pulling away in a foolish grin. He held you in his arms until, you guessed, you fell asleep.

The next day, you woke up finding yourself cuddling Frank. Smiled slightly, you snuggled closer as a single thought ran through your head. He's my personal teddy bear.
