All the villainous teams (Except for the XY Team Flare +) have been disbanded and all the villains were bored and stuck with almost nothing to do.
One of the bosses' routine, for example Maxie, would be wake up, tend to the needs of any homeless grunts that had stayed, argue with Archie,listen to Courtney complain about how easily they were stopped and argue against her and Tabitha about any reformation of the team, argue with Archie again, try (and fail) to stop Brodie robbing something, argue with Archie once again, stop the grunts doing anything stupid, argue with Archie one more time, tend to everyone's needs and then sleep.
But all this changed when Giovanni and Team Rocket gathered all the teams together at a party.
"Can't believe you're still alive, haven't heard from you for ages..." Giovanni turned to Archie with a smirk.
"Thought I was dead, did you? I wouldn't fall that easily."
Members of all the teams were conversating. Or arguing in Team Aqua and Magma's view. Yes that's right. Both teams had disbanded but many members still held grudges against each other. Immature, that's what the others called it.
"Idiot..." Maxie mumbled under his breath.
"What was that?!" And thus started another daily argument.
"This is the second time today... Wow, they must really hate each other..." Mars sighed. She had got bored of listening to Cyrus' rambles and Jupiter's girly talk and Saturn was conversating with Archer so she had decided to try get to know the other villains. And as a result, had overheard the rival bosses' heated debates.
"Actually... This is the fifth... And they don't hate each other. They love each other really but are too full of themselves to believe it so cover it up by arguing. The tension between them two is so thick you can cut it with a knife." Brodie said. Ditto agreed, a huge smile on the blob's face.
"You don't want them to hear you say that. They won't be pleased." The two turned around to see Shelly.
"Hey Shells, you were eavesdropping?" Brodie asked with a grin on his face. There were only a few Magma and Aqua members who didn't argue with each other anymore, Brodie and Shelly being one example. Though they did used to.
Shelly's cheeks heated up a bit and she huffed in annoyance. "I was not eavesdropping, I accidently overheard, I was only a few centimetres away. And don't call me 'Shells'."
"Then 'Clamperl'?"
"Brodie!" The thief laughed.
"So they argue all the time?" Mars inquired.
"Uh huh. 4 times a day in a good mood."
"A good mood?" Before Shelly could even open her mouth...
"What did you just say?!"
"I said Groudon is a stupid frigging disgrace of a legendary pokemon!"
"Why you!"
"Are you sure they love each other Brodie?" Mars questioned.
"To bits. Probably never admit it though."
"Maybe we should get them to." The galactic commander and the magma thief looked at Shelly with confusion.
"Whatcha mean?"
Mars' eyes lit up. "I get it! Play matchmaker and hook them up!"
Shelly nodded. "Their arguing is really starting to annoy me. So, up to it?"
"Of course! I'm in!" Mars cheered.
"And you Brodie?"
"Eh, anything for you Shells." Brodie grinned and laughed as Shelly's face violently heated up.
"Brodie! Stop it!"
"Haha. Then it's settled! Operation Hardenshipping coming up!" Mars giggled.
"Harden what?"
" Shipping name for Maxie x Archie, don't ask."
