The Foreign Lovers
The swede messed around with his hair, walking around the local store. He was trying to find a present for his girlfriend, Marzia. Pewdie wanted to propose to this girl, he had for so long. Yet, he was just now gaining the courage to. First off, he wanted to get her a gift. Afterward, he would buy her the perfect ring.
Pewds had been saving small amounts of money; to make sure it wasn't spent on anything else. But, today, she was told to rest her weary bones. She would defiantly worry about why he was taking so long. Felix had finally chosen a perfect gift. He chose to get Marzia a dress. Felix knew her size, so she wouldn't need to have it re-sized. He also had her favorite color memorized. From what Pewds knew, he bought Marzia a pink dress.
Now Felix had to choose a ring. She already had her ring finger sized for some accessories, and Pewds had it memorized as well. The swede gave himself only $500 to work with, as to not spend too much. After a long time thinking, he decided to get an opal ring. This being Marzia's birthstone, it made sense.
Not too long after he finished checking out, Marzia called.
"Felix, where are you? I'm hungry!"
"Don't worry, Marzia, I'm on my way now." Pewds smiled at the thought of seeing Marzia again. He missed her every time he went away without her. "I got your favorite!"
"Oh my goodness, you didn't!" Felix could feel Marzia's smile all the way back at home.
"I did, and I'm bringing it home now. See you soon Marzia! Love you!"
"Love you too Pewds!" Marzia hung up just as the Swedish man started his car. Pewds couldn't wait to get home. But, how would he ask Marzia? It's not a question you can just pop. Felix didn't want to over-complicate things. He would find a way.
When Felix had finally gotten home, he carried the groceries, and the dress in; he made sure to hide the ring in his pocket. Marzia offered to help, but Felix refused, saying it wasn't much. "Why'd you buy a dress, Felix? Is it for a challenge video?" Felix blushed at Marzia's comment.
"I bought it for you Marzia…..I though it'd look good on you." Pewds smiled at Marzia, now would be the best time to ask.
"Thank you Pewds, I'll go try it on now!"
"Wait, Marzia….I…." Pewds didn't know how to say it. He wanted to, he needed to.
"What is it Felix?" Marzia looked nervously at Felix. He reasoned that she was scared something big had come up.
"Marzia, I-I've loved you for a long time now…..and I," Felix got down on his knee, pulled out the box, and opened it, "I wanted to know if I-I could…..maybe…..have the honor of….being your fiance?" Marzia looked at Felix, she had a shocked look on her face.
"Felix….I-I don't know what to say." Felix's smile slowly turned into a frown. He looked away in sadness, hoping to find some light in the dark tunnel that was starting to form. "I don't know what to say," Felix looked up at Marzia, "But I know what I want." Felix stood up as Marzia fell into a warm embrace with him. "I want to be with you Felix. I don't care about anyone as much as you. You've made me feel useful, worthwhile, perfect over these past 4 years. Despite all our arguments, we still are together and I love you Felix!" Felix tightened his grip around Marzia. Both let out a single tear from their eyes.
"I love you too, Marzia. Thank you, my love."
