Disclaimer: Okay, this will only be on this page as everyone who chosses to read this story will see it. I do NOT own naruto, The as of yet unnamed nin, is mine though.
Among the trees of a forest, a caravan is being raided by a group of sound academy students. Their task is to take an item from the caravan without being captured. Those that can bring something of interest to Oorochimaru will be granted a Sound headband and given a Genin rank, those that fail will be punished or will be left to face punishment by the ones who caught them.
The driver never saw the kids as they each took a bag from the back, as they turned to escape, their intructor made a loud noise. As the driver turned to investigate, he got a shuriken between the eyes. As he fell, he pulled the reigns with him, causing all horses to slow to a halt, letting the kids take more time to ransack the cart. They presented their gains to their intructor, and with a nod of approval, left the scene.
Halfway to Sound village, the group came across a young man in a black cloak. "I saw what you did back there." he said. "Yeah, and just what can you do about it? We outnumber you." one of the students said. "So what? You're inexperienced. I'll have no trouble." The mystery nin said and pulled out a few shuriken from inside the cloak. The sound nin saw the shuriken and laughed. "What's so funny?" the mystery nin asked. "That's it? Paper shuriken? You've got to be kidding." A student said as she gripped her own metal shuriken. "Last chance." The mystery nin said. When it was apparent they wouldn't quit, the mystery nin shrugged slightly and threw the shuriken at the three. The students and hidden teacher looked on mockingly as the other made a handsign and multiplied the paper shuriken from 1 to 10.
The three students did nothing until they heard the sound of an exploding tag getting ready to blow. By the time they eralized it was coming from the shuriken, it was too late. The paper stars exploded as they reached the team, sending all three into the trees behind them with enough force to knock them all out, and leave them with burns.
The mystery nin stood up straight and looked at his defeated opponents. "That was easy." He said to himself. "Yeah, you're stronger than academy kids. You should be so proud." The sound instructor said from behind him. The mystery nin barely turned to see the instructor before a hand chopped the back of his neck. Before he completly blacked out, he could hear someone arriving, probably to incestigate the explosions from the shuriken bombs.

Okay chapter 1 is over and done. This is my first story of the year for me to be put up here. It's been a while so I may need to fine tune it here and there. I have no idea how the format changes from notepad/wordpad, to online will affect the spacing. The timeline for this story is post Shippuden movie. I don't mind criticism as long as it's constructive, I know this chapter is short, and that'll be the first thing to fix in upcoming chapters So far I only have 1 O.C. aside from the nameless faceless nobodies that may appear. With all that said, let's hope this story gets better and better.
