It was Saturday but the only people in Anubis house were Victor, Trudy and Jerome.

It was the day before Mothering Sunday, the school was having an extra long weekend so the students could be with their mums and the rest of their families.

But as perusal Jerome's mum was busy and she couldn't handle having both him and Poppy home for the long school break. He didn't care he didn't want to spend a minute pretending to love her, let alone a full day.

Mothering Sunday, Worse Sunday of the year Jerome thought as he sat at the cough, he was daydreaming and didn't notice Trudy come up behind him.

Trudy stayed at the house with him so he wouldn't be alone with Victor and Jerome felt bad about that.

"Jerome sweetie breakfast is ready" Trudy said placing a hand on his shoulder.

"OH...Thanks" he replied as he got up and made his way towards the table, it look weird seeing it so empty.

Being alone at the big table got him thinking, thinking about him, his mother, his sister and his dad. His family was broken, his dad had left him and his mum and since that day his family began to fall apart, and now it was broken, unfix able, shattered into a million pieces that no one could find let alone put back together.

Jerome started to think about Trudy, Has she ever got a nice present on Mother's day? She was a house-mother after all, wasn't she in-titled to getting gifts on that Sunday.

Jerome quickly finished his breakfast and headed to his room this was going to be the best Mother's day Trudy has ever had.

Jerome was not sure how Trudy does this every day for them. Jerome could barely handle cooking for one, How does she cook such delicious food for nine? but finally after getting up at about 4:00AM and several failed attempts he had finally done it, he had made the biggest most yummy looking breakfast he could, he just hope Trudy liked it.

Jerome placed everything on a tray including some flowers, a card and a small teddy bear on the try. He walked up the stairs, pass Victor's and towards Trudy's room.

Jerome opened the door quietly and peaked in to see if Trudy was awake.

Luckily she was still asleep, he tip-toed in and placed the tray on the floor. Jerome looked at the alarm clock, Trudy normal got up at 6:00AM but he had sneaked in earlier and shut the alarm off to let her sleep in.

it was now 8:00, Jerome found it hard not to laugh as he was about to wake Trudy.

"TRUDY WAKE UP, HAPPY HOUSE MOTHER'S DAY!" Trudy snapped her eyes open and saw Jerome in a fit of laughter.

"Wha- What time is it" Trudy said looking at the clock, her eyes widen when she saw the time "OH MY...I should get up" Trudy said and was about to do that when Jerome put the tray in front of her.

"What's this?" Trudy said surprised and confused.

"Happy house Mother's day" Jerome said as he looked at Trudy.

"House Mother's Day?" Trudy repeated.

"Yea since it's Mothering Sunday and I'm staying I thought since you're my house mother, I thought you deserve a breakfast in bed.

"Oh sweetie that's very kind of you" She said as she brought Jerome into a hug.

Jerome finally pulled away to let Trudy eat and as he left he heard Trudy said.

"Best Mother's Day ever"

Jerome smiled, walked out the door and said...

"That's what i was going for"

This was just a one-shot for mother's day, hope you liked it.

I don't know where Trudy stay's in Anubis house or even if she does stay there but to make it easier I just said she stayed upstairs somewhere (USE YOUR IMAGINATION) :D
