Teardrops stain your hazel eyes,
Can't believe I've made you cry,
It feels soo long since we've been wrong,
But your still on my mind.
He couldn't believe it. He did the one thing he had promised himself he'd never do. He broke her heart. And as he stood in front of her, he can honestly say that there's nothing he's ever regretted more in his entire life.
Never meant to break your heart,
Sometimes things just fall apart,
So here's one night, to make it right,
Before we say goodbye.
It was their last night together. They might never see each other after this. She was going to MUNY and he was going to a college in Miami. But he couldn't let her go just yet. He needed to hold her one last time.

I just need one last dance.
He couldn't let her go without knowing if she had forgiven him. So he walked up to her.
"One last dance? For old times sake?", he said.
Freshman year I saw your face,
Now it's graduation day,
Said we'd be friends, till the end,
Can we start again?
He knew he'd messed up. He knew it was his fault. He knew that he shouldn't have let it happen. But he did. And all he wants right now is to start over. Go back to the day they first met and make everything right.
So wait up, wait up,

I just need one last dance with you.
"I miss us" he tells her as they are dancing.
"We were good together, weren't we?" she asks.
"Yea we were" he says.
"What happened to us?" she asks.
"Idk Ally, all the pressure got to us. We never tried hard enough. We were the perfect couple. And we still might be. But I messed up, and for that I will never forgive my self. Because if I hadn't been stupid, then we still would be together."
"I know, Austin. But promise me that we will always be friends?"
"Always. And partners." He says, repeating her words from so long ago.
And in that moment, he knows, he knows that no matter where they end up, and no matter what happens in their lives, they will always be there for each other. They will never lose each other and they know that.
