Okay, so this is my very first Outsiders one-shot. For this one-shot to make any sense, you'd have to read some of the Outsiders prequel I made, but in this one, Dally has a fraternal twin sister named Sophie, and they're still in New York. After you read it, let me know what you think! Constructive criticism is welcomed!
Two Peas in a Pod
Chapter 1
Dally's POV
"Sophie! Sophie!" I yelled as I was trying to run away from my old man. He grabbed me from the back of my shirt, pulled me back, and started punching me. His fist slammed into the side of my head. When he finally let me go, the whole room was spinning…all I could think about was finding Sophie and getting out of there. I could hear running footsteps and screaming…and everything was going fuzzy. "Dally!" she yelled, bending over to help me up. She helped me up, rushed out of the house, and that's all I can remember before waking up on the ground in the park. It wasn't no fancy park either…it was all run-down with graffiti all over everything.
Sophie was right near me. I sat up real fast, but I was real dizzy. "Man, Dally, he got you good…" she laughed bitterly, calling me the name she'd been calling me since she could say my name. If you don't know already, she's my sister…my twin sister. She's only a few minutes younger than me, but she still looks up to me like a big brother. She's the best sister anyone could ever want.
