AN:I got this prompt off the Internet yet again. Hope you like it. It takes place after stars.

Tsukino Usagi was never very good at cooking. She didn't really know her way around the kitchen, and she burned almost everything. But today was her Mamo-chan's birthday, and she had to at least try. This was one of the few days she woke up before her boyfriend and she was going to take advantage of it.
She swore she only turned her back for a second. It wasn't like she could have known that the food would burn. She definitely couldn't have known eggs could catch fire. She just wanted to make her boyfriend a nice breakfast on his birthday.
Which was how she wound up running around their shared apartment screaming.
"FIRE!"
Chiba Mamoru definitely hadn't envisioned his day would start like this. He awoke to find that his girlfriend was running around the apartment yelling at the top of her lungs.
When the words she was saying registered in his mind, he jumped out of the bed. As he ran into the kitchen, he found a pan of eggs had somehow caught fire. After he put the fire out, he walked over to his now sniveling girlfriend.
"What's wrong Usako?" he asked kindly.
Sniffing, Usagi said "I was trying to surprise you with breakfast in bed, but I messed it up,"
Mamoru gazed down at her before replying, "It's okay, I don't need breakfast in bed for my birthday, we can just have cereal instead,"
Usagi looked up, "Really?" she asked.
Mamoru chuckled, "Yeah,"
At his reply Usagi hopped up, and ran to the kitchen, "Don't worry Mamo-chan, there's no way I can burn cereal!"
He laughed, and hoped she was right.
