"I don't trust her, what has she done to prove that she has changed sides?" Batman asked. Red Arrow and Artemis were in a conference room with him, one hidden away with blacked out windows and a door, on the top floor of a Wayne Enterprises building. Cheshire was lucky enough that there was a skylight that was neglected. She listened in on the conversation about her. Her sister trusted her; she'd even gained the trust of the skeptical Red Arrow. Even Green Arrow, when confronted by both his apprentice and former partner, believed her; and by that aspect Black Canary as well. When both the young archers had told the team, they put their trust in her and their mentors as well after Martian Manhunter asked if he could perform a mind scan so that he could be absolutely sure and was satisfied. Only Batman still didn't trust her. What would she have to do to convince the Dark Knight?
She mulled this over for days and realized the only way to earn his trust was to betray her father once again; the first was leaving the League of Shadows. She formulated a plan; she knew her father had once stolen one of the famed Faberge Eggs from the Gotham Museum. He kept it well hidden; she assumed she was the only other person to have seen it in his possession.

Cheshire skulked through the shadows, slinking through the League of Shadows' base to her father's "room". She slipped in, not making a single sound. Sportsmaster, thankfully, wasn't in. She searched the room meticulously, making sure to put everything back exactly the way it was. Finally she found it and snatched it up before slipping out of the room and disappearing into the shadows. She didn't let her guard down until she was out of the base and on her way back to Gotham, and safety.

She'd found the schematics for the Wayne Enterprises building in which Batman had held his meeting almost a week earlier. She had the Egg and a note. Making sure no one was in sight; she slipped down through the skylight and set the Egg on the table, the note under it.
To Batman,
Sportsmaster was responsible for the disappearance of this.
Merry Christmas,
Cheshire
