Anyways, this is an AU that just randomly came to my head. I hope you enjoy ^^

Prologue – The Birth of Something Life Changing

The only sounds coming from the Tenjo basement were the sounds of metal clanking against metal, drills being turned on left and right, and the occasional hushed curse. Haruto Tenjo stood outside the basement door, contemplating whether to go inside or not.

"Nii-san told me to stay up here when he's in the lab," the little Tenjo thought to himself. "But he's always down there! What does he even do down there that he doesn't want me to see?"

Haruto pouted and plopped down right in front of the basement door. Waiting for his older brother to come upstairs was boring, and he wanted caramel. He leaned his head back against the white wall, and stared at the clock on the opposite wall.

"Nii-san..."

Kaito Tenjo grinned at his creation; it was perfect. Exactly as he pictured. Small and slim, but still strong physically and mentally. Of course it couldn't lift a car, but it was strong enough to protect Haruto. Just enough. And Kaito wasn't going to allow an idiot to be around his precious little brother, so he gave it intelligence. He just needed one more thing...

"Orbital!"

The little robot, who was waiting nervously for instructions, jumped in surprise and knocked over a cart of power tools, sending both him and the cart tumbling to the tiled floor. "AAAAAH!"

Kaito rolled his eyes and waited for the clumsy robot to pick himself up from the surprisingly spotless floor.

"You can pick up your mess later." He turned away from Orbital, and started walking towards the other side of the room. Orbital made a squealing sound and quickly followed after the older Tenjo.

"W-where are we going Master Kaito?"

"To get something important."

"And this important s-something is?"

Kaito turned to the small robot, with an unreadable expression on his face. But Orbital could somewhat see a strange glint in his master's blue eyes. A spark of excitement, and joy. It gave Orbital hope that whatever his master was doing, was for the better.

"A Barian crystal."
