Chapter 1
Jacob woke up on an pelican with a UNSC medic surrounding him. Jacob was a Spartan sent on a mission by his director. His mission was to infiltrate a flood hive and exterminate. Last thing he saw was a flood attacking then it went black. He had passed out. Soon enough Jacob saw that a IV was hooked to his arm running liquids through his body. Soon enough the pilot said they were reaching the station. It had big bright lights and simmered in space. Even though space really didn't shimmer. It was shocking to Jacob because hasn't been home in weeks. When the ship landed Jacob was carried out. Jacob was surprised to see marines and his Spartan team welcoming him. After an hour everything settled down and marines pushed crates off to be loaded into ships. After all the moving saw the familiar writing saying installation 03. Jacob went to settle down in the medical wing. After getting there Jacob took off his armor to reveal a rugged warn skin. He was Hispanic and very tan.
Chapter 2
Later that night Jacob went to sleep and woke up the next morning with a sick feeling. He went to the bathroom and pucked a yellow fluid. Jacob had loved his time here and decided not to tell the doctor. Soon the doctor came in and said to Jacob he was fully recovered. The first thing Jacob did was go to the mess hall to eat breakfast. Jacob got In line for breakfast. He grabbed a muffin and scrambled eggs with toast. The muffin reminded him of his mom's bakery on earth. Quickly Jacob found his squad and sat down. His squad had Katy a scout in light blue armor, Jack with lime green armor (demo man), and Bob with black armor as the pyro. Bob said "Yo what'up" trying to act cool. Jacob responded " I'm okay". Katy then calmly said "How did the mission go". Jacob responded " It was fine" sarcastically. Soon there was a noise coming from a television near the Spartans. There was a booming voice saying "Welcome to griftball".
Chapter 3
The game griftball started ten minutes later. The players ran to the center of the field. Then the blue team grabbed the ball and ran. The player was pummeled by a red player who then earned point. The announcers voice boomed "1.0 five more to win. Red was on fire they scored tons of points. Then blue took the lead. After that everyone was being pummeled. The team's ended up tied for the last quarter . Jacob then asked what their holding his squad replied "modified energy swords and gravity hammers". Jacob had never heard of the second weapon was it covenant. But then it flashed his mind that he saw a brute on his spec ops missions on the halo rings. All of a sudden the blue team scored a point and won the game. The squad cheered clinging cups together all saying "cheers".
Chapter 4
Later that night Jacob went to the squad quarters. He went to sleep quickly and woke quickly after. When Jacob ole up he coughed blood but hid it and went to sleep with a mouth full of blood. His squad woke and headed to the mess hall. The team was not hungry so they watched another game but this time red team won. All of a sudden a marine started screaming with a flood spore on his leg. It was to late the marine turned to a flood. Then Jacob ran and jumped to snap the marines neck. They heard it snap as the marine fell. But they spores were still alive so Jacob stomped to land the killing blow. The corpse was then quarantined by UNSC.

Chapter 5
After the death in the morning the base was set on full alert. Marines were armed with assault rifles and magnums. The Spartans had no time to sleep they were protecting the barracks. The armory was very limited because their base was far from any
