"Owen," Zach sighed, "I thought I said no!"

"But Zachy, they're so cute! C'mon, we gotta have 'em!"

"Yeah, they're cute, but they're also tacky! No one puts raptors on their trees…. And don't call me 'Zachy'," the younger said, picking the four raptor out from their perches on the branches of their Christmas tree.

"But Zachy," Owen began, ignoring his partner's grumble, "the girls will never forgive me for not putting these up!"

Zach sighed. He knew that what Owen wanted, Owen would get; that's just the way the world worked. "Fine, we can put them on! But don't expect us to next year."

"No, of course not, babe…." Owen smirked from where he was untangling lights. Zach knew that look.

The raptors were definitely going back on the tree next year, if Owen had anything to say about it.
