T.K. looked at Cody in the hospital bed bruised and cut up from their battle with an evil Digimon. T.K. had to be the one to get him to the hospital and make up a story of how he got injured. T.K. made up that he fell down a mountain side while they were hiking and T.K. ran him to the nearest hospital and he got their with help from a kind man who drove him. It was his fault though he was right their trying to protect Cody while Digimon looked for help. T.K. held the hand of the little boy and started to remember how he was treated as a kid in the Digital World especially the way Matt treated him he wasn't a little kid he fought along the others and saved everyone from Piedmon when he changed everyone except Kari, Patamon and him into key chains. He never treated Cody like a little kid because he used to be youngest one in the digidestin.
Cody looked so peaceful in the hospital room and he had to undertake all this at the age of nine but he knew that if he could did it back then Cody can now. He just had to hold on he cared too much for his friend to let him go and would hope that everything would be all right. His crest of Hope would hopeful shine to make sure that his friend and the one person who he had a crush on. He talked to Cody hoping he would here him wish that he lived.
