Break Up In a Small Town

JOE'S POV
Everybody stopped talking when I walked into Pino's to pick up my meatball sub order. I wonder what has happened to Stephanie now. Thought Joe Morelli to himself as he walked up to the counter.
"Here's your order Joe." Said Marjorie at the counter. "Extra cheese just how you like it." She said pushing her breasts up so Joe can see them really good. "I get off work at nine, I could come by your house." She said quietly.
"Thanks for the extra cheese, Marjorie. I've got to get up early tomorrow morning, maybe next time," mumbles Joe not looking at her as he hands her some money. She hands him his order.
"Okay, see you around then." She said giving him a long look. "Here's your change. Have a good evening."
"Bye." Said Joe as he turns around to leave. The door opens then and standing there is Stephanie and Ranger Manoso. He has his arm around her.
"Hi Joe." Said Stephanie Manoso. "How are you?" She asked quietly.
"Fine, just fine. How are you?" He asked glancing down, then he sees her stomach slightly protruding.
"Really good." She said placing her hand on her stomach. "We found out today that we're having a boy."
"Congratulations." He said. "Well, I've got to be going. Bye Stephanie, Manoso." I can't even leave my house, he mumbles under his breath.
STEPH'S POV
"Bye Joe," said Stephanie as he walked by her and Ranger and out the door. "Well, that was awkward!"
"Babe." Said Ranger. "It's been two years and he still holds a torch for you."
"Yeah, I could see that." She said softly. "I wish he would move or move on as I have. Let's eat, I'm starving." She said reaching up with her left hand and kissed Ranger gently on the lips. Her big diamond ring sparkled in the light.
