"Me? I'm a wizard not that people here believe it…"

No one in this place besides the witch believes me to be a wizard. Yet you, someone who just met me, believes that I am. Why do you believe it? What is it that made you believe what I said over everyone else?

"I like looking at the stars. They help me relax."

I've always liked looking at the stars either through my telescope or outside. I thought it was the only thing that'd make me relax…that is till I met you. Now I feel even more relaxed when in your presence though I don't know why. It's especially relaxing when you and I look at the stars together. Why is it that in your company alone I feel relaxed? Something no one else has made me feel except for master…

"I don't have many friends."

I've been alone for a very long time with only my master as company till I left. Even in the middle of this town I feel alone surrounded by these people. Why is it that you, someone I barely know, is interested in becoming friends? Why do you help me with my problems even if it causes trouble for you? Why do you care?

"Family? I have no family."

I lost my family a long time ago. The one to raise me was master who I couldn't truly consider family. Being with you has me longing for what I once longed for as a child. A family of my own…I gave up on that a long time ago. So why…why are you able to instill this longing for a long lost dream into me?

"Being alone is simple."

Being alone is something I know very well. It was enough to keep me going. I didn't need friends or family to tie me down. I could go wherever I wanted to go no matter what. Being alone never bothered me till now.

"But now I want to be with you."

Being alone isn't enough for me anymore…I want something more. I want to be with you forever. I don't know why I want this it's just a feeling I have. I feel like if I don't follow this feeling I'm having I'll regret it. How is it that you make me feel this way? What exactly have you done to draw such feelings from me?

"How strange…I want you to know my name."

I was told by master to never tell someone my name. Names have power over you and if someone knows your name they have power. So why is it that I'm ready to give you the one thing that you can have that will give you power over me? Why do I trust my entire existence to you?

"Gale."

I give you my name as you are the only one I want to know my name. For I care for you too much to keep such an important thing from you. I want to be with you forever that is why I tell you my name.
