"Run away with me." Zach's breath was heavy and warm against my face. I didn't hear the words, I only knew that the kiss was real – the kiss was safe.
I kissed him again.
"Gallagher Girl," he said, pulling back, holding my face in both of his hands, "we can go. We can run. We can get off the grid and stay off the grid until it's safe. For everyone." His eyes were inches apart from mine as he whispered, "We can keep each other safe."
"What are you saying, Zach?" I tried to push him away.
"We're the only two people in the world the Circle will think twice about killing."
"That's not funny."
"I'm not laughing." He held me closer. "You're right – no one's safe with us around. Listen to me, Cammie, we could do this. We've been training our whole lives to do this."
"I can't." I shook off the though before it could take root somewhere inside of me. "No. No. My mother-"
"Would understand," Zach snapped. "I'm surprised she hasn't had the same idea." His hands found mine again. "If no one knows where we are, then no one can find us."
Tactically speaking, Zach was right. And yet I couldn't stop looking at him like he was crazy as he said, "We. Can. Do. This."
I felt his hands and knew they were still warm, blood was still flowing through him, he was still breathing – we both were.
We should have been dead.
Remember what I said about hope? About lies? If Zach had been talking crazy, it would have been easy to discount it, to turn and walk away.
But the truth…the truth – even when it comes in tiny kernels – isn't so easy to discard, so I stood with him, staring out at the morning light, trying to decide what piece I should try to carry…

She stood there, her ice blue eyes glaring at him, tearing through all of his walls as she said, "Why did you make her leave?" And suddenly his smirk was gone as the whole world faded and he realized what he had done.

The 'It' girl and the 'It' guy, it is basically a rivalry, or maybe it's just a little too much pride and not enough humility. What happens when two people desperate for love come together, without even realizing it? Why is it that Zachary Goode is so impossible to reach? Why does he keep on pushing her to realize what she herself has never known. How does he know her so well, after knowing her for such a short time.
(Excerpt)
"You know, I heard that you're the famous Cammie Morgan, you are the princess of this school." He said with his smirk planted on his face with pride. "Yep, although a princess, not so much; now I wouldn't mind the term 'Queen'. That - that suits my situation so much better."

Basically, all he'd done was cross a line that Cameron Ann Morgan was not going to let him cross. He'd asked her about her. No one asked about her. Sure, they talked about her, but none of them showed interest. They always just looked at her for a while, then moved on down the line. Him…now he's different. But isn't what they all say?
Now, I understand all these are stupid, but I'm going to be putting up random little ideas I have whenever I'm sitting at home with ideas on the brain! If you want me to do songfics or actually fictions based off of your ideas, just PM me, or send it over in a review! I'll be happy to at least take you under consideration!
