Chapter 1
The Escape
"Everyone to the East Gate! We must not let him escape!", Urahara yells. 'What have I done?!', he thinks to himself.
I sit in a corner crying softly. Rain falls in a slow trickle, drenching my hair and washing the fresh blood of my face. 'What am I", I think to myself, 'Where am I? Why are those people with swords trying to kill me? And where did HE go? HE killed those people, why did HE do that?' Because they were going to kill you little one., a deep voice rumbles in my head. 'Wh–who are you?', I ask him softly. The guardian of your soul., he says gently. 'Why are they trying to kill...'. "There he is, at the end of that corridor!", a voice calls out. I look up in sheer terror. A man is at the end of the corridor that I am sitting in, yelling down the street. A group of men appear at the end of the hall. "Kill him, show no mercy. He is the one who killed the Captain.". the men started towards men, drawing there swords. I cower in terror as they start to get closer. "No...please...don't!", I beg. "Shut up you monster! You killed the Captain! Die!", he screams as he charges. He stops in front of me and raises his sword. "NOOOOO", I scream. The sword descends. "Eeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh!". Blood sprays all over the men and walls. The men stand in terror at the sight before them. The man who attacked me stared in shock at his sword, which was caught between my teeth. I bit down and shattered the blade. His gaze then traveled down to his abdomen, where my clawed, armored hand was currently holding his spine. "All I want to do is go home...where ever that is.", I say in a whisper. His eyes glaze over, and I jerk on his spine, ripping out his skull. The black, bladed armor travels up the rest of my arm, and as it continues, I cry out, "Leave me alone!!!". The armor completely covers my body now, giving me the appearance of a black dragon, complete with wings and a tail. The men stand in terror as my spiritual pressure takes the form of a demonic skull. I take a step forward and the I charge. "Oh shit, Run!", one calls out. "DIE", I say. Screams penetrate the nighttime silence. Blood falls like rain. Body parts and organs rain down like hail. But do you know what the boy did? He laughed, laughed like a maniac during the slaughter, but when it was over, and the armor dissipated, he cried. He cried harder than he ever had before. After he finished, he walked over to the Senkaimon gate and, without a backwards glance of respect for those fallen men, walked through. Today was the boys bloody baptism into a world that wants him dead.
