Just Perfect

I'll tell her tomorrow

Harry thought as Ginny made him close his eyes and follow her.

It was now getting dark and it was hard to tell where they were headed.

He felt the gravel through his tattered shoes, so he knew that they had crossed the first year's road to the castle.

Great, I have my eyes closed and I'm crossing the road Harry chuckled slightly.

"What's so funny?" Ginny asked looking at Harry sternly.

"Harry James Potter, did you open your eyes?"

God she sounds like Mrs. Weasley

"No, I swear"

Ginny continued pulling him.

"So says the man with the Marauders map"

She finally stopped him; silence filling the ground. Harry realized they were somewhere alone. .. Which was good…he needed some peace and quiet.

"Okay, open your eyes!" She beamed.

Harry was speechless; it was like his tongue wouldn't corporate.

He was standing near a beautiful oak, filled with blooming lilies (Harry thought that was a rather funny coincidence) and candles in every branch.

Ginny's perfume was very strong tonight; he could almost taste the scent of fresh flowers from her fiery red hair.

There was also, he noticed, a little table and two chairs floating in midair.

"Harry? Do you like it?"

After a moments hesitation he responded.

"I love it, and I love you"

Her eyes widened and her jaw dropped into a strict O.

How could I have been so stupid? Not that I don't love her, but it will hurt her ten times worse when I leave

"I…I love you too, Harry"

There was an awkward silence as they looked into each others eyes.

It wasn't before long that Ginny broke the quiet and grabbed his collar, forcing their lips to meet.

Harry held steady and returned the kiss as if the world stopped revolving.

It seemed like they sat there for hours, eating their candle-lit dinner under the dim moon light.

When they finally walked back to the castle, brushing arms and brushing furiously, it seemed like finding the horcruxes didn't matter…even though it did.

Harry's mind raced as he came to his conclusion.

I wont let her sleep in tears…I'll tell her tomorrow.
