They had known each other a long time, longer than you might think, seeing the way they where constantly bickering. Really, it was since they where kids that they knew each other, and sometimes people might describe them as childish.
They where nose to nose, scowls etched on their faces.
"Why don't you go die?" she growled, dark brown eyes narrowed as she looked into his squinty ones.
"I'd like to say the same thing to you!" he half yelled, half hissed.
It was always like this, they could spend days at a time quietly doing whatever they were supposed to, and then they'd start arguing over nothing.
He never meant it, and neither did she, it was just what happened. It would start out small, and turn into death threats. And that made him like her all the more.
Ling closed the space between them and kissed her. Even though they were both ticked off, she couldn't resist, it was a chemical attraction, metal to a magnet, something that can't be stopped.
Ranfan kissed him back, before pulling away and going back to what she was doing. This wasn't the first argument, and it wouldn't be the last. She knew that much.
The arguments might never stop, they loved each other, but they also hated one another.
