"You three are nothing, but failures. A disgrace to the Village, no wonder you have not family that will claim you. I wish I could have said this sooner, leave this village and never come back. You team 44 are nothing but disgraces, who shouldn't live." A man yelled as he looked at the three twelve-year olds in front of him. They didn't say a word as they each took a minute to catch each other's eyes before leaving the field and walking into the night.

Pup Ai, Go Ai, Kio Ai, and Dirt Ai. Team forty-four of the ex members of the sand village. They shared the last name Ai, because though not related they were part of their own clan that they formed over nine years ago. Twelve year old first year Genin that hadn't been out of the academy a month, without a Jonin or village.
"Do you honestly believe the Leaf Village will even let us in?" Dirt asked breaking the silent of the night as the three walk. Dirt was a large boy with both in height and weight. Only at thirteen years he was the height of most sixteen year old as was very chubby and round. The boy had light blond hair and tan skin, but all over his face, skin, and hair was caked on layers of mud, dirt, and some stuff no one really knew what was. His eyes were a dark grey color that followed nothing at everything at the same time.
His clothes were a simple tan jacket with the collar pulled up to cover most of his face with a brown fur collar. Then a pair of tan short with bandages running up his legs.
"No probably not…they'll probably end up killing us. But it'll be nice to see Hinata again before we are killed. Besides we'll either get killed by them, or if they are cruel enough to spear us I'm sure gorilla hands isn't to far behind us looking for blood." Pup Ai shrugged like everything was normal with that and they weren't looking at the fact they'd most likely be killed. Pup was a descendent from Inuzuka and was part of a small branch clan before becoming a part of the Ai clan. He had short spiky brown hair and dark brown eyes. He still had the red triangles on his checks and some of his features took on an animal like appearance. He had on a simple white jacket with a brown fur collar with a pair of long dark green pants.
Go was a small brown ninja dog who was still a small pup. He was walking along the feet of his master.
Leading the group was Kio Ai. The only girl in team forty-four, not that you'd at first be able to tell she was a girl. She had bark blue hair that was pulled into a spiky ponytail near the top of her head, but the back of her hair was cut in a leveled hime style. She had dark sapphire blue eyes that were set hard on the ground in front of her. She wore a simple long black sleeve with a baggy black t-shirt over it, than a pair of black shorts. Usually she'd of had her large black jacket on, but now it was tied around her waist.
"I just have to make sure I get five minutes to tell Hinata everything. We never did finish our conversation, and me dying will defiantly effect our plan." Kio said as she walked toward and away from death.
"I just hope maybe someone will finally just let us live in peace." Dirt muttered under his breath thinking about all the hardships they'd endured in their nine years together. He found it ironic they're name meant love when no one ever showed it to them.
Kio had to bit back a smile, she knew the chances of them living were slim. It was a sad day when a group of twelve-year olds weren't afraid of death and were waiting for it.
