Sakura was not pleased. Here she was going on a peaceful stroll through Konoha with her Sasuke-kun, the trip back from the grocery store had the potential to be very romantic, you see. That is, if they had not been interrupted by this horrific sight.
"HEY SAKURA-CHAN! DID YOU COME TO HELP INFORM THE PUBLIC OF THE IMPENDING DOOM?"
"Nice dress, idiot." Sasuke, while disturbed by Naruto's presence, couldn't help but smirk.
"SHUT UP BASTARD, I'LL HAVE YOU KNOW THAT THIS-"
"It's a dress." Sakura is female and therefore knows a dress when she sees one. But she has to hand it to the moron, he must have found the ugliest robe-like dress within a hundred mile radius. "What are you doing?"
Naruto started waving his sign (THE END IS NIGH) franticly. "Well, I was watching the news right? And there were these creepy dudes saying world was about to end they all started to march around with signs and stuff and I was like um yeah, you guys are stupid, the world isn't going to end! But then I was like, um hello, how would I know if the world was going to end? So then I looked it up on the internet and found out that the world has been coming to an end since like, forever! AND AS THE FUTURE HOKAGE, I CAN'T LET KONOHA BE DESTROYED! HOW CAN I BE HOKAGE IF THERE IS NO PLACE TO BE HOKAGE OF?"
"You're a fucking idiot."
"BUT SAKURA-CHAAAN!"
Sasuke knew this wasn't going to turn out well.
"SAKURA-CHAN, WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO ABOUT THIS?" Said girl was thinking the exact same thing.
You can't kill him, Sakura. Get a hold of yourself. Restraint. Deep breaths.
"I KNOW, LET'S GO TELL BAA-CHAN!" Naruto started waving his sign in her face.
Breathe in.
"WE CAN GET KAKASHI-SENSEI AND ERO-SANIN TO COME TO!" And flailing.
Breathe out.
"I KNOW! WE CAN ALL HAVE A SLEEP OVER AT YOUR HOUSE SAKURA-CHAN! WE CAN MAKE MORE SIGNS!" Waving and flailing.
Fuck it.
"NARUTO. SHUT THE HELL UP." Sakura grabbed the sign (THE END IS NIGH) that Naruto had, and started to beat him with it.
Sasuke looked down at the groceries in his hands and noticed that Sakura's ice cream had started to melt.
