Feli had been the one to bring him home.

Im Yong Soo could remember the day almost like yesterday, and it still brought a smile to his face.

There was something about finding the one that made you unbelievably happy that just always put a smile on his face.

It wasn't the romantic sort, and it was not some build up of long forgotten feelings for his Northern Italian friend that often left him smiling and laughing in a way that it seemed like only best friends could pull off.

Truthfully, Feli was more of a brother to him than anything.

Im Yong Soo smiled as he watched their three year old play and wondered when things had somehow transformed from simple friendship and camaraderie, living together, paying rent, and going to the same school though under vastly different majors had transformed into homecooked meals, planning play dates, and debating who should comfort their boy if he had nightmares that night.

The South Korean knew the rumors that flew from a great many people to describe this friendship, a mutual effort to raise a child that they both considered a son, and the new results of sharing a bed.

Many incidentally always assumed that the two dated while their wasn't really any romantic aspect to it.

They probably wouldn't care to know that Feli still sometimes flirted with beautiful women, and that Im Yong Soo sometimes managed to go on dates with others, usually men though not always.

He wondered if they cared about how perfectly innocent it was though they probably would deny such claims if they saw the way Feli tended to cuddle with the nearest object or person in bed with him or the way Im Yong Soo usually cradled a teddy bear close and sometimes Feli was mistaken for that beloved teddy bear.

It really wasn't in a romantic sort as Im Yong Soo had never been one to see the Italian of the two of them in a romantic way, and he tended to just be grateful for such a good friend and a good brother of sorts.

Even their son knew better as he called them both his uncles as the fight that escalated over who would be the father had not been pleasant in the least and was strangely enough one of their worst fights though they were quick to solve it out of fear of how this would damage their friendship and how that would affect their son growing up.

He viewed them as one would expect a child to view parental figures though he called them, Uncle Feli and Uncle Yong.

Yong Soo smiled as he wandered over to play with his son; he may have been adopted off of the streets and brought home by Yong's best friend, but he was still very much his son in ways that extended beyond blood.

The South Korean smiled at the boy that made him smile more than anything and that often made him laugh at his silly antics.

There was something undeniably beautiful about being near his son.
