A/N: Who's excited for tonight's episode?! I am and I hope you all are too!

"Captain Chandler!" a woman yelled, running nearly full speed towards them with an armed guard following her closely. "Tom!" Darien saw her husband wheel about at the frantic shouts of his name. Tom quickly left her side to dash over to the other woman, whom Darien could tell was British by her accent. As the woman came to a halt, she panted heavily, trying to catch her breath.

"Rachel, what is it?" Tom asked her, picking up on the urgency she was expelling.

"It worked," she stated, still partially out of breath. "The tools, the equipment, the lab; it all worked."

"You mean…?" the man had a look of cautious hope on his face.

"Yes," she replied, nodding her head vigorously. "We can now mass produce both the vaccine and the cure."

The soldiers that Tom had brought with them cheered and shouted, understanding completely that they would now be able to help the whole world get better. Finding the cure was one thing, but mass producing it was another entirely and they had now overcome their latest obstacle.

"We did it," the captain whispered in shock, a smile gradually overtaking his face.

Rachel sighed in relief, grinning widely. "We did it," she repeated.

Darien watched as her husband immediately swept the woman up in his arms, her feet dangling slightly off the ground as he lifted her up. Her arms wound tightly around him as their faces buried into each other's shoulders and necks. It was clear to Darien that this wasn't the first time an embrace like this had been exchanged between the two of them. It was too natural, looking completely familiar to them.

This had to be the great Dr. Scott that Tom wouldn't stop talking about. He had told her that the doctor was busy in the lab they'd repaired for her so she wouldn't get to meet them just yet. Doctor Rios, instead, was the one to administer the precious cure to her and her kids, her father-in-law having died shortly before Tom had arrived.

As her husband had rambled on and on about their adventures during the past several weeks, Darien had noticed how his eyes would light up brighter every time he would mention Dr. Scott. It made her suspicious and somewhat jealous of the woman, her own thoughts consumed of what they're relationship might be.

Observing them now, she could tell that whatever it was, it wasn't completely platonic. Darien had seen how Tom acted and behaved around other women, before and after the virus, and he'd never spent so much time touching them or lost in a hug with them before.

When the two of them pulled back, they still had those stupid grins adorning their faces as they gazed at one another. There were unspoken words and feelings that flew between them, their awareness of only each other in that moment a harsh blow to her. It was a bitter pill to swallow, but suddenly, Darien realized that just as quickly as she'd gotten her husband back, she'd lost him even faster.
