He was sneaking out and smirked feeling the rain on his green skin, it felt so good!
"Ah!" he breathed softly as a smirk crossed his face.
Dominic didn't get it, why he liked rain so much but was sitting on the wet ground meditating, focusing his mind but had learnt this in Japan.
"Constantine!" he heard a voice say but was too deep in meditation to respond.
It was Nadya as she was back home from the store but Elsie and Sneaker were at a friend's house but saw lashing rain fall and drenching her husband in the cold water seeing him shiver a bit.
"It's time to come in." she said seeing him awake.
Constantine woke up as he shivered but was in her arms but she was using a towel to dry him off but he felt yucky and like some weird thing was trying to get out of his nose sneezing and feeling unlike himself and she understood.
She then found his fluffy knitted blanket that he'd made which was his favourite thing he'd made as she wrapped it around him seeing he caught cold but understood putting him on the couch making cocoa as it would warm them as Dominic understood that Constantine meditated in the rain but now he had a cold.
"I warn him every time rain falls that if he stays out there too long, he'll catch cold but he's stubborn." Domimic told her stirring coffee.
"Hm but he's listening to his instincts when he does that, he may be a famous thief but he's also a frog." Nadya said.
"True Nad." he said as she scowled.
"Only Constantine calls me that." she replied sipping cocoa hearing coughs from the living room as it was her husband entering
She placed a hand on his cheek gently feeling he was burning up sighing taking her hand away.
"How bad is it?" Dominic asked her.
"A stay in bed one from the looks of it." she said as she knew he would be back on his mischievous webbed feet soon once the cold ran it's course but he wouldn't be himself for a while.
"Let's get ya to bed and let you rest." Nadya told Constantine lifting him up gently but going to his room.
She was putting him in his bed but grabbing an ice pack putting it on his lime green head seeing his eyes open.
"You caught a bad cold from being outside in the rain.
But what were you doing out there, in the rain?" she told him.
"Meditating.
Tbe rain soothes me and it feels good on my skin plus there was this feeling inside telling me I had to go outside but I-I don't know why!" he said sneezing.
"That was your instincts.
But you'll be okay soon." she said.
He nodded as they were cuddling but Constantine was asleep from the cold and understood tucking him in.
