Just finished reading "The Death Cure", and I loved it! (I'm onto Kill Order now, the last book in the series I'm reading) So, as a celebration, decided to make a Maze Runner fanfiction! Enjoy! :)

What was Thomas experiencing during the Swipe?
Thomas had been put under minutes earlier for the Swipe, a procedure that would cause all of his memories, even those of Teresa, other than his name, to be erased. He was willingly doing it, in hopes that he would be able to find a cure for the Flare disease.
Suddenly, Thomas felt a strange feeling of being unable to remember things. Like, his memories were fading away. It was such an uncomfortable feeling, and he wanted it to stop, immediately.
Make it stop! MAKE IT STOP!
However, it was starting to get too late. Things like his telepathic abilities, his family, and his ties to W.I.C.K.E.D were fading away fast. He could barely hold onto his memories, and then, he let them go, and he thought no more.
