Hey , this is my first fic so please tell me what you think.

"GAVNER!" I screamed as he fell to the floor , blood gushing from his side. Kurda gasped and turned to look at me. I ignored him and ran to Gavner , knelt beside him and clutched his hand.
"D-Darren ?"
"Yes Gavner I'm here, don't worry". It was a stupid thing to tell him. Worrying must have been an understatement to what he must have been feeling.
"Sing?". I just stared at him. I didn't understand why Gavner - strong vampire general - wanted his final battle to go out with a song. I did remember him mentioning once that he loved music in his human life , maybe after all the hardship of being a vampire he wanted his life to end on a sweeter note rather than blood and betrayal. I didnt know what to sing but I knew that he didn't have much time left , so I swallowed the lump in my throat and sang the only song I thought would be fitting to this situation;

Tears had began to trickle down my face by the end of the song but I tried to stay strong. My two hands had been clutching onto one of his ( his other on his wound ) and were covered in blood. I wanted to pull them away and scrub them until my hands were raw , it made me feel sick that my friends blood was on my hands, in more than one way. After all he died trying to save me. My stomach clenched at the thought and tightened even more when he started coughing up blood. I knew this was it.
"Goodbye Gavner" I managed to whisper.
"No Darren. N-Not goodbye. Just..." The corners of his lips turned up into a smile and he added
"See you later" and with that he closed his eyes, took his last breath and died.
