Summery:Takes place after Maureen and Joanne walk off at the end of "Take Me Or Leave Me".What I think should have happened.Mark/Maureen

Outside the country club,Maureen sat on a bench crying.Why did this always happen to her?She had a great relationship and it was doing great then she just wrecks it.Then the bench creaked as someone sat next to her.Maureen looked up to see who had inturrupted her solitude.It was Mark,her ex-boyfriend Mark.A perfect example of how she screwed up a relationship.

"Hey"He said,putting his arm around her."You okay?"

"No.I just screwed up a great relationship and now I don't even have a place to live."

"Hey it's okay.Everything's going to be fine Maureen.I promise.You can stay with me and Roger.And Joanne will come around eventually."

"Thanks Mark,"Maureen leaned more into his comfortable embrace."It really means a lot that you will let me stay with you after everything I did.But I'm not even sure I want Joanne to come back.Being with her is so hard,it's like she can't accept me as I am."

"Mo,everything will turn out all right.And you know I'm always here for you right?"

"Yeah.Thanks for that Mark."

"It's no problem, I love you."

Maureen's mouth fell open.Mark himself was even shocked at what he had just said.He really hadn't meant to say it,not that he didn't mean it because he really did love her but he didn't really want to tell her that.Suddenly Maureen smiled.

"I love you too Mark."

"Seriously?"

"No,I'm kidding!Of course seriously!"

And with that and the fact that she just looked so beautiful Mark couldn't take it anymore.He pressed his lips to hers in a passionate kiss that she willingly returned.

"Go I've missed you so much."He mumbled against her lips.

Maureen responded by deaponing the kiss and pullig him even closer to her.Mark could feel himself hardening especially as Maureen pulled herself into his lap to deepen the kiss even more.



Suddenly the whole gang walked out:Roger,MiMi,Collins,and Angel.

Mark and Maureen were so caught up in each other that they didn't notice their friends and their shocked expressions.

Roger caughed and Mark and Maureen reluctantly broke their kiss and looked up.

"Oh!Hi guys!"Maureen said to break the awkawerd silence.

Angel smiled"I knew you two would end up together!"

Collins smirked at Mark"See,I was right."

"About what?"Mark asked.

"You still love her" Everyone laughed.

Roger started walking away.

"Come on guys.Let's go get Mo's crap from Joanne's apartment."

"Yay!"MiMi squealed "I'm gonna have a girl to talk to in an apartment building full of guys."

And everyone started walking toward the subway.

Maureen and Mark walked behind everyone else. "We'll finish that later."Maureen promised.

Mark smiled and tightened his arm aound her.That was his Mo.
