I have a marching band in a small town. I'm a section leader in a flute section that consists of only three flutes… well to be technical piccolos. I'm a really BIG band geek. All I talk about is band this and band that. I can't help it I just love band. For all county all I did was practice my flute 24 -7. I hate it when band members get picked on! It just aches my nerves. I was in English class for a self-reflection essay and it asked me "what I value most.' You know what I put "band". hahaha. This tells you just how big of a band geek I am. I'm sure that there's other band geeks just like me. I'm just trying to find them. One thing I'm upset about this year is that we got a drum major who is a stuck up. She is constantly making me and other band members upset. And to put on top of that she lied during her interview for drum major and my band director believed her. I would rather our band director to pick up a stranger and say, "hey you! You're my new drum major." then for her to pick the one she did. My band director has been teaching at my school for about sixteen years now. Despite of a few mistakes; she is a wonderful band teacher and I couldn't of ever found a better one.

Everyone hates it when flutes play. What has flutes ever done to deserve to be looked down upon what did I ever do? Well competition season is coming up and I'm so excited. I'll tell you how it went. I hope we do good. Well I wish my other fellow band geeks out there good luck at there competitions also. If you're in band you know how exciting band competition can be. Well Ill write more later.
