People keep talking

They could say what they like

But all I know is

Everything's gonna be alright

No one, no one, no one

Can get in the way of what I'm feeling

No one, no one, no one

Can get in the way of what I feel

For you, you, you

Can get in the way of what I feel

-No One, Alicia Keys

Sirius remembered the past two weeks; the best two weeks of his entire life. The past two weeks he had dated Lily Evans the girl of his dreams the girl who had been off limits until James broke up with her. He had always cared deeply about her but he just couldn't hurt his best mate; so he kept his feelings to himself. Sirius' patience paid off when James and Lily broke up; he made his move and Lily said yes. People made up stories that she was just dating him to tease James, but Sirius believed in all his heart that Lily actually loved him.

Then there was today; today, the day that Sirius fantasy broke and his heart was shattered. He remembered her words exactly the way they rolled over her beautiful red lips with such ease.

"I'm going back to James." She had never loved him he was just a pawn used to get her further in the game. He felt used and humiliated, but he wouldn't let her abuse get to him because when she turned and he saw those beautiful green eyes he just melted into a puddle of happiness; her happiness was spread to him. People continued with their stories and Sirius just ignored them and remembered one day that he had spent with Lily.

"Will you read me a story Sirius?" she asked as they lounged in the Gryffindor common room. It was a Wednesday night and most people were studying, but did Sirius ever really study.

"Of course Lily anything for you" he shut his book and moved closer to her on the couch they were sharing. "What would you like me to read?" She grabbed a small leather book from the huge pile she had on the table next to the couch.

"How about this one it's a muggle story called Cinderella." Sirius read through the story and once he was done Lily gave him a small kiss.

"Thank you Sirius you're really good at telling stories." He smiled his normal goofy grin and Lily grabbed her things and headed upstairs. "I'll be seeing you in the morning."

Sirius remembered Lily's face when he read the story and how engrossed she was in it. It seemed their relationship was like it kind of. The story began, but as soon as something more interesting came along Lily put the book down and left Sirius behind.

I'm not really happy with this fic at all. It was a hard pairing to write for me and I just didn't have much inspiration. Please review I definitely want some feedback on this. :D
