"How much longer?" Macy said, Joe was covering her eyes so she couldn't see. "Here." "A lake." "Private, nice." Macy said, "Shall we?" Joe said and he jumped off the wooden pier. Spraying Macy with chilly water. "Uh?" "Relax, I've got you." He said bending his knee out for her to sit on. "Okay." As soon as she came she noticed it was deep and Joe moved his leg. "WAIT!" She gasped, "I can't swim." "Oh." And right before she went under he grabbed her. "Never pull a stunt like that again Joe Lucas!" She half laughed; she never used his last name before. "How's 'bout I teach you?" He asked, pulling her small torso to the shallow end. After an hour she was swimming around him in circles. "I'm exhausted." "Me too." Macy added. When he pulled her up she yawned and pecked his lips sleepily. He touched them in shock they were warm and soft. She then dragged her feet home after whispering "I like you Joe." Then went home. He heard her and ran to her. "I like you too." He said breathlessly. "Good." "See you tomorrow sweetie." He said awkwardly. "See you." She said.
