Sakura sighed as she sat on the toilet, a long plastic stick in her hand. She had done this three times and they all came out the same….

She was pregnant.

There was no doubt in her mind on who the father was. After all he was her husband and the love of her life. The unborn child inside of her belonged to no one other than Uchiha, Sasuke. She had married him last spring and they had been doing well ever since.

Clenching the stick in her hand, she ran her free hand shakily through her pink locks. Just how would the man take it? How would he feel about being a father…

Or rather… more importantly… how did she feel about being a mother? She let her slender fingers slid across her tummy; the thought of having little life inside of her thrilled her to no end. She had always wanted a child; she thought that being a mother would be an amazing experience.

Snapping out of her thoughts, Sakura stood up before tossing the plastic stick into the waste basket.

"Alright, Sakura… just take a deep breath and tell him… no big deal, right?" she told herself, doing her best to relax a bit as she exited the restroom.

Sasuke could be found in the kitchen sipping on a cup of coffee as he mulled over a newspaper. His eyes didn't leave the paper as Sakura walked in the room, but she knew he knew she had come in.

"Sasuke… can I tell you something…?"

"Hn?" he replied, his eyes still glued to the paper.

Sakura took in a deep breath. "Well…." The girl looked down twiddling her fingers, it made feel a bit like Hinata.

Sasuke raised an eyebrow at her nervousness as he finally looked up from his paper, "What is it?" he asked taking another sip of coffee.

The pinked haired girl closed her eyes, "I'm pregnant."

The Uchiha boy did a spit take, practically choking on his coffee. It was one of his rare moments, when he actually lost his cool. He looked at her, "R-Really?"

Sakura nodded, "are you… happy?"

Sasuke pulled her other to him and planted a passionate kiss on her lips. "Ecstatic."

Nine months later they were graced with a beautiful baby girl, with her father's jet black hair and mother's lovely green eyes.
