A/N: Otakufanlover requested three stories; G/E, F/M, and A/C, so I'm doing these three drabbles. Feel free to give your own requests!
Right
George spent all day, every day, listening to people describe how sex was ruined for them, or how they ruined sex for others. It disgusted him.
He felt almost guilty when he returned home each day and had a normal sex life with Elliot. The sex was perfect between them. Whether he was on top or bottom, sex with Elliot was overwhelming and just so right.
And then, inevitably, he'd fall asleep and go to work the next day. The cycle would start again.
But coming home and being in a relationship with Elliot made the world feel right again.
Heal
The NYPD required monthly sessions with counselors, and for good reason: everyone needed to talk to them sometimes. Every cop had a trauma to heal from. Munch and Fin would talk to them, sure, and their mental state probably did improve because of them.
But late at night was when they did the real healing. The world was their own, a void where none of the world's atrocities existed anymore. They were tender and loving to each other; there was no reason to remember the trauma they'd seen earlier that day. Sometimes the best way to heal was to forget.
Argue
Being prosecuting attorneys, Alex and Casey spent all day arguing. With the detectives they worked with, with the defense lawyers, with the judges. Sometimes they had to argue with the witnesses.
So when they got home, they almost always had no more energy to argue. Maybe that was why their relationship worked so well.
The few times they did argue, the arguments were spectacular. They were a verbal chess match, each word chosen as carefully as possible.
But after those arguments ended, they always were determined to make up quickly. Being together gave them more energy than being apart did.
