((A/N: Hee! I'm introducing one of my Teen Titans chars, who happens to be a HIVE student! Neato! This will eventually update, but not until my other char makes her appearace in another fic, which will be posted soon. For now, enjoy the tidbit! By the way, her powers are kinetic: she manipulates the potential energy in objects, so she can make them move at will.))
"Who is she?"
The question was whispered among the halls of the HIVE, echoing though the corridors. The top students, the infamous Jinx, Gizmo and Mammoth, were especially curious and had been tailing the new student all day. The girl seemed not to notice them, walking along and staring straight ahead, with a superior expression as if she were too important to examine her fellow classmates.
"What an awful hair style," Jinx sniped, her eyes narrowed at the newcomer. Her hair was, in fact, dark blue in color, and in a rather Terra-esque fashion, covered her right eye. She wore a midnight-blue shirt with a matching skirt, a slender black belt with a jade stone set in the center, and long black combat boots.
As the multitudes entered the cafeteria, the low whispers slowly turned to full-out chatter as the HIVE students separated into groups and sat at respective tables. The newcomer picked up a tray and sat at the far table: the marked spot, home to Jinx, Gizmo and Mammoth. The loud babble of the cafeteria immediately stopped as the trio waltzed over, grinning maliciously. The three sat directly in front of the new girl, glaring at her for a moment before Jinx broke the silence.
"You're in our spot, newbie."
Looking up, the new girl raised an eyebrow. "Oh?"
"So move it or lose it, boogerbrain!" Gizmo retorted in his annoyingly shrill voice.
"Don't make us move you," Mammoth threatened, leering at her.
Suddenly the chairs they were sitting in flew into the air and they found themselves unable to move. The chairs were glowing a pale blue, and as the trio looked with amazement at the girl, her eyes glowed the same color as she half-smiled, making the chairs begin to spin around. The entire cafeteria stared as the three spun crazily, screeching out cried of "Stop it!" and "Put me down!" As a finale, the chairs did a loop-de-loop and flew into the south wall, smashing to pieces on impact. As the trio stood dizzily, the girl turned to grin evilly at them. "My name is Dodge," she said evenly. "Now, would you like to sit with me?"
