"Axel?" Roxas asked as he gently pushed his fingers into the cool depths of the pond. It was just one of those days, Roxas had decided. Just one of those days that lead to false promises and planting seeds of hope, even if you knew nothing were to grow when it would be one of that kind of days. "Yeah?" Axel answered, his face turned towards the warm sunshine. "Do you think we can ever be whole?" The blond asked, somewhat innocently as he chased a koi around with his slim hand. "I suppose," He said in a voice that betrayed his real feelings, if he really even had any. 'You can be whole again, Sora will make sure of that.' Axel thought solemnly. ' I'll always be left behind you just out of reach.'

"You know Axel, maybe we already are." Roxas stated and his eye brows knitted together in deep thought. "I mean, we have the necessary body parts and functions, which is half of it right?" Axel gave a small grunt signaling him to continue with what seemed like a delusional hope. "And we have some kind of soul right?" Roxas asked not expecting an answer he pressed on. "Or something like it or we wouldn't have the ambition to become whole, or anything really or any goals at that. Nothing would matter to us since we don't feel anything without a soul. Right?" The slender red-head finally turned his attention away from the sky and towards his younger partner with aw. "Roxas..." He wasn't sure what to say, what he could say. There were so many choices, indulge in Roxas' wishful thinking and be something akin to happy, the most he could hope for, or break Roxas' stupid chain of thoughts along with his heart and any inocence he still retained.

"Don't we still have some kind of feeling? Maybe were closer to being whole then anyone thinks!" Roxas wasn't asking questions but merely declaring. "How could we feel each other! Why would we want to if we didn't care!" He pressed on practically shouting in desperation. "Maybe-" "Stop!" Axel screamed with some unknown emotion, stopping him before he could say anything more. "Stop! Maybe this, maybe that, maybe nothing! Maybe Roxas, maybe we can't ever be whole, maybe were just husks of people, maybe, maybe-" Axel walked over to the shorter boy and grabbed his shoulders roughly staring into those pools of, well he didn't understand , "Maybe this is what are destiny is, maybe this is what was planned Roxas." He said softly, softer then Roxas had ever heard anyways. "Maybe if your whole again, I'll just be left behind."

End

So I'm not sure if I wanna make this into a real story, well write a chapter story separately that ties into it.

Review you ugly hos! :)
