Chapter 1: New School Year.
Naomi POV
As everyone was saying "Hi" to their old friends, Naomi was sitting alone on a bench until a boy came to sit beside her.
Naomi:"Can I Help You?"
Boy:" Yes, Is Your Muffin Buttered?"
Naomi:"Boys"
She knew that line from the movie Mean Girls.
Jimmy POV
As I rolled down the hallway everyone was saying hi to me but I really didn't care. Then I saw her. Ms. Manny Santos. She was a fantasy in the making. She was perfect in every way even though I was the only person who say it. As I am going to say hi to her I get stop by my best friend Spinner.
Spinner:" Now, why are you rolling in the wrong direction."
Jimmy: "Going to talk to an old friend. So get out my way, Spin."
Spinner was looking in the direction that Jimmy was going. He saw her too'
Spinner" Ms. Manuela Santos. Been There, Done That."
Jimmy: " Don't talk about her like that."
I started to roll her way but Spinner stopped me again.
Spinner: "Don't do it."
Jimmy didn't care. He started to roll her way.
Manny: "Jimmy your looking good. Real good."
Jimmy: "Thanks. Your looking good too."
Manny: "Who would have thought we would be in the same grade together. You always used to tease me."
Jimmy: "I know I was immature then. Now I'm a man."
Manny: "Yes you are."
I was thinking are we flirting with each other.
Manny POV
Who would have thought Jimmy and I would have a real convsation. Very good first friend of the new year time to find more. But I want to always be close to Jimmy now.
