Hi! Filler for my other fanfictions, I suppose! This is more of a poem than a fanfiction "story", but it is related to The Hunger Games, so it should count as a fanfiction! 3 Love all my fans! BTW- for those who read TIDE IN NETS, my friend bribed me (with a cookie, not money) to finish Chapter 10 by Thursday so you should have it by 11:59 PM EST :) I'll give you what I have of In Peeta's Eyes, and I'm really sorry for the lack of content. IPE is slightly harder to write because I have to use the books. Luckily, we're almost at the arena, where I can actually stop using the book for a while. The arena's the good part :) Anyways, so enjoy my beautiful poem! Want more? REVIEW REVIEW REVIEW and tell me what you want for the next poem!
Flower
It's futile, so simple
But innocent life
Destroyed
Hands clutched tight
You are my lifeline
I'm not ready to let you go
The last request can only be whispered,
All I can do is hold back the scream
You ask me to sing, your gentle eyes convince
The forest, quiet
As the music flows out
So magical, with even the animals' respect
The last beat, reflecting your purity
Music lulls you to eternal rest
The voices beyond capture my melody, releasing me from my prison
Something snaps
The youth you exuded
Dead to the world
Agony, agony
Your memory shattered and erased
The fire inside will burn forever
They don't own us,
You were more than just a small soul,
A girl who mattered- at least, to me
Wildflowers to show your innocence
But mostly to cover the wound in my heart
They're bright, clever in their own way, mirrors of you
So vulnerable in sleep
I kiss your temple softly
Goodnight
