There I was just spawned in the middle of nowhere. I see a tree and began mining, until I hear a noise, "OINK" JESUS CHRIST" I yell as it gave me quite a scare. It was a PIG, it looked really weird like a block of pink with legs. Then as I get to crafting I get off the craft screen and see... DARKNESS "oh no" I thought until I built me an under ground cave. Ok it's just me and my torches, chest and table and bed. I make an l shape so I could see outside just in case. My hearts go down, I say "what the" so I rush and mine. Then I mined until I saw this green creature. It looked at me for a good ten seconds and then all of the sudden BOOM goes the creature destroying me and everything I had. I've learned if u see mobs... run.
