Maya's Story

Not really based on any physical book. This is a story I created a while go as a spinoff of a high school 10,000-word writing assignment

Hi! I'm Maya. My actual name is Maya Abigail Brown. I'm 15 years old, and I'm a sophomore in high school.

I have an older sister. Her name is Lydia Rose, and she is one of my closest friends. We share a special bond: We both have Asperger's Syndrome.

But we don't let that stop us. With help from my sister, I made a couple of friends. Two of my best friends are Lucy and Jane, a set of twins that are my age.

When I first met them, I was really shy. I was 12 at the time, and I had been diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome 5 years earlier.

Lucy and Jane are not your normal pair of twins. Why? Well, read on to find out.
