A lil small one shot of Briolet, or Haloforce. is there a solid ship name yet? anyway, YJ is awesome so far. a lil confusing with all the characters but all in all good I love it. we're real short on brionxviolet content tho so here's my take on how their kiss happened. enjoy!
"You know, I think I remember you. Or...not you. Gabrielle." Brion said casually, hands in pockets. Above them, the stars filled the heavens, as they strolled the tree-lined paths. It was a peaceful night, quiet, a gentle breeze from between the trees rustling the fruits and leaves. Violet bit into her Apple again, glancing thoughtfully at Brion.
"Really?" A small, fond smile appeared on his face.
"Yes."
"Tell me about her." She asked curiously as she swallowed the bit of apple. Brion chuckled softly to himself.
"Well, I don't know much about her. I...never talked to her. But, she was around the palace. A servant, probably." He recalled thoughtfully, turning his gaze to the skies.
"Was she...was Gabrielle better than Violet?"
"No..no, of course not!" He said quickly, shaking his head as he stopped in his steps. He paused, taking a moment to reconsider his words.
"Actually, I will never know." He sighed, "I never got to know Gabrielle for who she was. I never formed a connection with her. But...you, Violet..." his voice grew soft as he gazed fondly at her.
"I have gotten to know you, Violet. For who you are. Regardless who Gabrielle was, you are still you. And I...I have a connection with you." Violet smiled at him, and his heart skipped.
"I feel a connection with you, too." Emotion flooded Brion, swelling in his heart, but it was quick to dissipate, fear quick to replace it, when Violet suddenly gasps. The apple rolls out of her hand, forgotten, and she stumbles backwards.
"Violet!" He rushes forward, catching her from falling backwards. Gently, he takes her hand into his, gazing worriedly at her.
"Are you alright? What's wrong?" The words tumbled out quickly, his accent slightly thicker.
Flashes of memories, of the palace, of one night; of palace hallways, a door, screaming...she shakes her head quickly, pushing the memories away. A dark feeling hung over her heart, one of grim realization.
"Violet?" She looked up, into familiar anxious eyes. Once more, fear found its way back, fear of never seeing these caring eyes again; fear, of them turning against her, in anger, in hatred, for what Gabrielle...for what she had done. A decision was made, memories and emotions pushed away again, and her troubled eyes fell to the ground.
"I...It's nothing. I'm alright...thank you, Brion." She whispered, but they were close now, very close, and he heard the words, words that made his heart race. His arm was still carefully wrapped around her waist, and his other still clasped her hand. His grip loosened, fingers slowly brushing up her wrist, to her arm, her shoulders, where her head was tilted away from him. Her skin tingled under his touch, as gently, gingerly, with his thumb and index finger, he lifted her head up to meet his gaze. Under his soft, kind gaze and his tiny caring smile, her doubt and troubles melted away.
A gentle breeze wound its way around them, and it was quiet in the night, save the rustling of the trees, as heaven and earth met, bridged by love, and their lips connected under the light of the stars above.
I tried my best eeks. hope u enjoyed! I'm considering writing a one-shot of Brion making an apple pie/cake for Violet. Review and tell me if u think that's cool :D
