The Foreign Exchange Student

Dan Howell is no ordinary exchange student. He is a prince trying to escape attempts on his life by going to America and living there until things back home are figured out. At his new school, he makes some new friends, as well as a major crush on one of hid new best friends. Will he be able to hide his feelings? Will he survive an American high school?

1. Chapter 1

Dan was worried. He was about to start his first day of school in America! Dan started walking up to his new school, Random Name High School. Once he got to the front door, he opened it and walked into the little space between the doors. Dan then tried to open the other door, but for some reason, he was unable to.

" Ugh. How am I supposed to be able to go to this school when I can't even get through the front door?" Dan said angrily. All of a sudden, there was a Beep! right behind him. He turned around, just now noticing the wooden box thing on the wall. Suddenly he heard a mans voice through the box.

" Excuse me sir, but why are you trying to get into the school?" the voice asked.

"I'm here to learn. It is my first day here, and I have no idea what I'm supposed to do. Could you help me out?" Dan replied to the voice.

"Sure thing! Just tell me your name, please," the voice said enthusiastically.

"Dan Howell. I'm the foreign exchange student from London," he said. Dan started to wait for an answer from the man, and he got one after a few minutes.

"Ah! Daniel J. Howell, correct?" the voice asked.

Dan immediately replied by saying "Yes, that's me." " Am I able to go in now?" Dan asked, starting to get a little annoyed.

Almost immediately, he heard a "Yes, you can. You just need to go to the office as soon as you walk in. Now get inside." Dan then walked into the school for the first time of many.
