Super quick fluff attempt here ='D I don't own Ban and Ginji or their buggy or autumn or Tokyo either for that matter-

The occasional cricket chirps outside a small buggy car. A crisp fall night, outside a park in Tokyo, and what's visible of the sky twinkles with stars.

Through patchy moonlight, the final leaves are falling onto the windshield of the car. A breeze rocks it, and winter is coming on.

The air is turning from pleasantly cool into uncomfortably chilly, an unwelcome change for the little buggy. Inside the windows of the car, two boys are sleeping, huddled up in their clothes for warmth.

"Ban-chan… Ban-chan, are you awake?"

"Nn… what is it, Ginji?"

"Ban-chan… it's so cold… I can't sleep. Can we turn on the heat, just for a little while?"

"You know we don't have enough money for gas to leave the car on all night. We need to save gas money for jobs, so we can make more money, and spend it on gas…"

"Kay, Ban-chan. Sorry."

The blonde boy turns back towards his window, shivering imperceptibly. And it was only November… Ban rarely feels guilty for the situation he and his partner share, but this is one of those times.

He's guilty because it's a problem Ban can solve, and he knows the right thing to do, and what he's wanted to do, and what Ginji wants him to do, but that he's too much of a wuss to actually do. As he runs his eyes over Ginji's muscled body, his soft hair, his peaceful face, Ban knows that it's wrong for them to be on freezing on separate sides of the car when they could be warm together.

He experimentally reaches a hand over, pulls it back, and then with a burst of confidence ghosts it over Ginji's cheekbone, uncertain of how Ginji will react to this familiarity, but a hand reaches up to grip Ban's, warmly and tightly, as if Ginji had been waiting for a hand, his hand.

Invitation granted, Ban slides over to the passenger side of the car, and curls an arm around Ginji, still hesitant. He's not- they're not- they're just- he wants to reassure Ginji he's not a freak, that it's normal to want to curl up for warmth, to keep them from becoming awkward because of this, but Ginji's body is molding around Ban's and the arm around him is being hugged and the excuses slip out of Ban's mind.

They curl together, seeking warmth and body touch and unfamiliar sensations of lying down with somebody else. It's cramped in the buggy, but they fit, and their combined heat is warming up their side of the car. Satisfied with the state of affairs, Ginji lets out a pleased sigh, nuzzles into Ban one more time, and slips back out of consciousness.

Ban stays still for a little while longer, although the new warmth is working as a sedative on his mind. Ginji's in his arms- he's holding Ginji, and it feels good, it feels right, like this is how they were meant to be, entwined together like this. So Ban lets himself rest, gently kissing the back of Ginji's neck (it was just there) before closing his eyes and drifting off, close to his partner.

The crickets chirp slowly outside the car, one a minute, and winter is setting in. The prospect just doesn't seem as bad anymore.
