She registers pain, dull but insistent, probing at her body from various points. There is fatigue, strain in her limbs and aches all over telling her that her body needs to rest. There is fear, thick and coalescing in her very pores, fear of that… thing, and of this man who she knows and can discern nothing about, this man who looks at her with piercing dark eyes that know all but will reveal nothing.
He is lying on top of her and there is fear.
And then… lips are capturing hers; sure, steady, and possessive, everything she does not feel. Her heart lurches, but she can do nothing against the sudden assault. Fingers press into her cheeks, her eyes close, and… blood. Blood, thick and warm, seeps into her mouth and slides down her throat. It is rich with pain and memories and… and…
For a stark, frightening moment, there is nothing.
And then, with sudden clarity, she knows.
"Saya… fight."
And then, she begins.
