Angel:
This morning I woke up on the hard rock floor of the cave we were in to find that Max and Fang were gone. I searched for them with my limited mind powers, but didn't hear them, so I panicked, im sorry, but I did. I jumped up and shook Nudge awake to try and tell her, but I don't think she was really awake enough to hear my pleads.
Nudge:
I woke to Angels sobs. she was shaking me awake and mumbling something about max, but I could not really understand her.
"What's wrong, Angel, what's happened?" I asked
Max, and Fang, "she stuttered," there..There…GONE!!!"she cried, then she collapsed into a heap in my lap.
"no, they didn't, they probably just went out to get breakfast." By this time Iggy and Gazzy were awake, too.
"Angel? Nudge? Where's Max?"Gazzy said "And Fang, and what's wrong?"
"Angel is feeling down, because she cant find Max, she thinks they are gone."I explained. "but they are probably just out somewhere." I reached for a fork, and it flew into my grasp, you know, its really a good thing, this power, with Angel where she was, I would never have been able to get that fork. iggy handed me a plate of eggs, and I gave them and the fork to Angel. "here, eat. Everything is fine,"
"Yeah, Angel, they'll be back soon."Gazzy said anxiously. "Right Ig?"
"sure." Iggy said, handing him breakfast.
Max:
When Fang and I got back from the market, loaded down with needed things, everyone was awake, eating.
"See Angel, told ya."Nudge said.
"told her what?" I asked, suspicious.
"That you and Fang would be back, she thought you were gone forever, Want some eggs?" She asked, handing me a plate.
"Don't mind if I do." I said. It's a good thing we had decided to get groceries, I thought, we wouldn't have had a reason for our three and a half hour fly, if not. As I was, it was a good thing we left early, before they woke up, because the store was only fifteen minutes away from here.
Flashback:
"Hey, Max," I woke up, startled, Fang was above me, looking down at me with his dark eyes that gave nothing away.
"Yea?" I whispered.
"I need to talk to you," he said"privately"
"Um, okay,"
So we had left, flying high, enjoying the wind of the early morning. Completely alone. We flew to the valley a few minutes away, and sat in a meadow, that was probably a campground at some point, as there were trails and old benches.
"so?"I asked
"well, uh, "
"spit it out" I had said
""I have a question," he said.
"yeah?" I asked, my hart thumping oh, please,please don't let him ask wht I think hes going to ask, i pleaded
Why, you'd be happy if that happened, now wouldn't you, maximum?oh great, just the perfect time for the voice to talk, wouldn't I ever bealone in my head?
"what would you do if I did this?"Fang asked
"what?" I started to ask, but Fang swooped in and I couldn't finish my question, for he was kissing me, and my brain had shorted out oh, gosh,oh man I thought, I tried to leave, but Fang had my arms,so I couldn't. Finally we broke apart, and Fang whispered in my ear "Well? I love you Max,"
I was shocked, but a feeling of sheer happiness over came me, and I kissed him again.
"Well, does that mean you love me back?"he asked
"yes" I whispered, forever and always"
We kissed again, and this time, when we broke apart, it had become dawn
"oh, Shit!" I said" we need to get back!"
So we went and picked up supplies and went back to the cave
End Flashback:
After breakfast, the flock and I left, back on our mission to destroy the remaining branches of itex. Fan kept sneaking me looks, and I felt super happy, we the flock, I mean, were together and on a mission.
